Rydon Maintenance Ltd have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician / Maintenance Site Supervisor to join our highly regarded repairs and maintenance team in Southend, Essex on a facilities management contract with the NHS. This is an excellent opportunity to take on some site supervisory duties, whilst still maintaining an active role within your trade.
What we do
Rydon Maintenance Ltd provides a range of hard facilities management and property maintenance services in partnership with a range of NHS Trusts. We provide reactive and planned maintenance to a number of NHS buildings and we work to strict timescales and safety requirements to ensure the comfort and safety of service users using these NHS facilities. With offices in the South East, to Bristol in the South West our experience has taken us across a variety of sensitive healthcare environments.

As an Electrician / Site Supervisor your time will be split between supervising the sites and also maintaining an active role in your trade. You will be working across two care homes located in Southend, Essex.

What we can offer you;
Previous relevant experience in the maintenance of buildings is essential, ideally within the NHS (or for a maintenance contractor providing services to the NHS). Alternatively, you will have worked for a maintenance contractor providing a planned/reactive maintenance service in a commercial setting (perhaps a hotel, school, supermarkets etc).
Electricial qualifications to include;
You will also have an understanding of Microsoft packages, strong people skills, great attention to detail and be looking for an opportunity that combines supervisory duties whilst still maintaining an active role within a skilled trade.
A full UK driving licence is required as a company van is provided.
