We are seeking an experienced Plasterer with multi-skilled experience to join our housing repairs and maintenance team in Islington, London.
Our maintenance business provides a range of expert planned and responsive maintenance services to domestic properties in the social housing sector. We look after a growing number of residential homes (and also have experience across healthcare and education sectors) Using the latest technology we ensure properties are well maintained, efficient and fit for purpose.

Our maintenance team are responsible for providing ongoing planned and reactive maintenance for more than 9,000 residential properties across London. This position will cover a patch of North London in Islington where our housing stock consists mainly of Victorian/Edwardian Street properties.
As a multi skilled plasterer, you’ll carry out high quality repairs and maintenance works to these domestic social housing properties. This will mostly be plastering including lath and lime, rendering through to re-boarding to full skim of walls along with other skilled tasks such as painting and decorating.
What we can offer you:
This is a full time permanent position and working hours are 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm
The preferred candidate will hold a trade City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Plastering or time served. You will have substantial knowledge of plastering and general building skills would be an advantage. This could include: painting, tiling etc.
The works will take place in residential homes so customer service and tidiness is crucial. Previous experience working within social is also preferred. You’ll have a good focus on Health and Safety awareness and wear the correct PPE at all times.
