We currently have an exciting opportunity for an office services assistant (post room assistant) to join our busy Forest Row office. An opportunity has arisen for a general office assistant to assist with post, printing, archiving and reception duties in our busy Office Services department.
You will be part of a small, busy team supporting several hundred office based staff with day to day office assistance tasks. Whilst the job is varied, there is also a great deal of routine work such as telephone calls, stationary ordering, large batch printing, uniform ordering and much more. Deadlines can be tight so you will need to be adept at juggling a number of simultaneous priorities. This is a role where no two days are the same!
The hours of work are 40 per week, with a requirement to cover a shift rota between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm.
The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, an interest in working in a busy office environment and be able to use Microsoft Packages such as Word and Outlook. The preferred candidate will have previous office experience however, with the training provided on site this role may also suit a school and/or college leaver looking for their first office based role. Either way, you'll be enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a variety of different people.
