    Job Purpose

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our Dartford based Healthcare Maintenance team. As one of the UK's leading providers of planned and preventative maintenance services to the NHS, this challenging role will work as part of our pre-contract team to help us continue to develop cost effective solutions for our NHS Clients. As we work across hospital/acute care, ambulance services, mental health, community services and other outpatient services, the role offers a truly diverse range of schemes and as such, no two days are the same. We are seeking an experienced estimator who has previous experience costing planned/preventative maintenance solutions in areas such as mechanical and electrical, building fabric and minor works contracts. This is a challenging role, and demand for our NHS hard facilities management services has grown substantially over the last 5 years. This is therefore a newly created position to enable us to continue to deliver timely, competitive responses.

Other key duties include; liaising with contractors and suppliers for costings to be added into the bid, modelling and maintaining various estimating databases to produce timely and effective cost solutions, maintaining and using asset information within the estimating database, assist as part of the mobilisation team handing over from sales to operations team ensuring that pre-contract agreements translate into the service provision, and developing proposal documents to include the prepared estimates.

This is a varied role with excellent opportunities for personal growth and development.

    Experience Required

You will have great attention to detail, strong time management, customer focused and keen to understand client requirements; working closely with their fellow team members to create relevant and winning solutions for our NHS Clients. Experience with estimating software such as Conquest would be an advantage but candidates used to using other software packages will also be considered. Along with a flexible ‘can do’ approach, you will possess excellent IT skills and be able to manage and manipulate costing spreadsheets.

If you have the above skills and experience, we'd strongly encourage you to apply.
