    We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Edgware residential scheme which is building 76 rented and shared ownership units.

    Job Purpose

    We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work as part of an established and high performing site team. Your role will be lead (under the direction of a senior site manager) key aspects of a new build residential scheme in Burnt Oak, Edgware. As part of this role, you will be responsible for undertaking the on site management of directly employed and subcontracted team members in line with weekly and monthly project plans, regularly reporting on progress to ensure on time and on budget delivery. Health and Safety is paramount, and as such you will set the standard and ensure that all team members, whether directly employed or subcontracted deliver their role in a safe manner. The scheme itself is a 76 unit residential scheme comprising apartments (shared ownership and PRS - Private Rental Scheme). You will manage through the full construction process from frame (which will shortly complete), externals, through to internals/final handover. As such, you will have experience of managing multiple trades and packages to a high standard/finish quality. 


    The successful candidate will deliver exceptional product quality throughout the construction process, along with managing sub contractors and trades in order to deliver within program and budget. Rydon is renowned for its quality, and as such, you will have a keen eye for detail and lead our teams to achieve excellence. 


    This is a great opportunity for an established, 'all round' Site Manager to work within Rydon. The role offers significant opportunity to progress with a career pathway to senior site management and/or project management possible. 

    Experience Required

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience as a site manager, preferably within a tier 1 main contractor. You will have gained experience managing schemes (working to a senior site manager or project manager) with a contract value of £15m+ managing from inception of the scheme, through to completion and handover. You will have excellent knowledge of all packages across groundworks, externals, M&E, internals through to final handover. Strong leadership and motivational skills to ensure that objectives are achieved is a must, along with SMSTS and First Aid certificates. Demonstrable experience of excellence in health and safety management is also critical.
