Join our Transformational Change Office who work as part of Rydon's corporate services division in Forest Row (East Sussex). At Rydon, our aim is to improve local communities – through Housing, Healthcare and Education solutions - for the benefit of current and future generations. We build and maintain homes, schools and hospitals as well as Extra Care facilities, student accommodation, community leisure centres and more. And by doing so we are delivering award-winning, quality facilities built for local communities with a commitment from people who are passionate about what they do.
We are now seeking to appoint a business analyst to join our Transformational Change team, who work as part of Rydon's corporate services division in Forest Row (East Sussex). This is a fast paced role supporting Rydon's four operating companies in effecting long term and complex change across a multi-site business.
In 2016 we created Rydon's Transformational Change Office, which fundamentally changed the way that Rydon undertakes its corporate projects. Now, supported by a full programme and projects office, Rydon has led some exciting changes (such as the implementation of a new drawing management system across more than 20 office locations in the UK, implemented a new Learning Management System, successfully delivered huge cultural/process changes to support GDPR compliance and much more). As we continue to deliver more complex change, the successful applicant will lead requirements gathering and full business analysis for 'business change' projects. This is a great opportunity for the preferred candidate to join a highly successful change team that has been instrumental in introducing new ways of working, business changes and new systems.
The role itself drives business change (which encompasses both cultural and business process changes), although some of this change is enabled by IT which means that you will work closely with our Technical Change Analysts (who are responsible for the technical aspects of system design/implementation). The role of this business analyst will be to work with project leads, sponsors and business end users to define requirements and ensure that these are met through project delivery.
As part of this varied and challenging role, the successful candidate will undertake all elements of business analysis. This will include: defining business cases for proposed initiatives; eliciting, defining and documenting requirements; defining and documenting acceptance criteria, modelling outputs using workflows, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and performing cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) analysis for proposed changes to aid management in making change decisions.
One key project focus will involve our Document Management System which will include consolidation of data and will incorporate data analysis using appropriate techniques, and will require engagement with stakeholders across the business. Other key projects that you might be involved includes ensuring that Rydon is able to achieve ISO 27001 status, the implementation of Office 365 and much more.
This is an opportunity to help Rydon to shape its corporate change delivery capability and as such, this opportunity provides significant room for personal growth and role development.
If you have the passion, drive and determination to help us in continue to build on our success, we’d strongly encourage you to apply.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate previous business analysis experience in a formal project delivery environment, ideally within a multi-site service led industry (construction experience is not essential as this is a corporate change/business change led role). You will have demonstrable experience of requirements gathering, business process mapping both as-is and to-be and will have worked through a full project cycle. In addition, you will be able to talk a confidently about benefits realisation and change impact. The preferred candidate to hold a relevant change/business analysis qualification though this is not essential as candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.
If you have the above experience we would strongly encourage you to apply.
As a well established, progressive company we are committed to attracting and retaining individuals by offering an excellent benefits package that includes a wide range of core and voluntary benefits.
Rydon is an equal opportunities employer and promotes diversity in employment. Successful candidates will be selected solely on their ability to carry out the duties of the post.
