Rydon is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties.
Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group which within our housing contracts provides hard facilities management services to tenanted and void properties on a unique partnering agreement basis for Housing Associations.
We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team to take a lead role in managing costs for our responsive repairs, cyclical decorations and lifecycle repairs contracts servicing more than 9,000 social housing units.
This is fast paced and challenging role; you will be balancing the requirements of residents, the Client and Rydon to ensure the best commercial outcome for all parties.
Using your extensive Quantity Surveying experience (either Schedule of Rates or PFI, partnership or long term contracts basis) you will ensure the smooth running and ongoing cost effectiveness of our contracts. You will ensure all billing is in line with requirements, and that where appropriate; cyclical/lifecycle repair options are used in lieu of responsive repairs to maximise the value to the Client and Rydon.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with demonstrable experience gained ideally within a housing maintenance environment (reactive/responsive repairs, cyclical decorations and/or lifecycle repairs).
Candidates with experience a Quantity Surveying role within the Refurbishment of social housing stock will also be considered. If you have this experience then we would strongly encourage you to apply at our online careers centre: http://www.rydonjobs.co.uk
As a well established, progressive company we are committed to attracting and retaining individuals by offering an excellent benefits package that includes a wide range of core and voluntary benefits.
