Overview

We are currently seeking a Site Manager to join our Islington (London) based scheme - Packington Estate. Rydon is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout southern England. We have established a strong reputation for the quality of our new-build, maintenance and refurbishment services across residential, education and healthcare. We construct either on a single site or as part of mixed-use regeneration schemes. Our expertise ranges from the construction of substantial community hospitals to quality new-build social and affordable housing, creating new communities for people to live.

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Site Manager to join our Islington (London) based scheme - Packington Estate. This is an award winning residential regeneration scheme with a total construction value of £130m. We are currently seeking a Site Manager to lead a single block (29 units) from the ground up. The scheme is delivered using RC-Frame construction. You will be responsible for developing and managing the weekly project plan, inducting our site based trades and subcontractors and ensuring that they deliver to time, budget, quality and to the required health and safety standards. 

 

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take the current block from groundworks, to externals, internals, first/second fix and handover. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning scheme and to help deliver outstanding quality homes for this community. 

Experience Required

The preferred candidate will have previous site management experience, gained within a new-build residential contractor. You will have experience of leading schemes through the full construction lifecycle and demonstrate excellent leadership skills. Rydon is passionate about team development, and in addition to leading the site teams you will be responsible for working with your direct reports to understand and deliver to their career aspirations. In return, our teams will invest in your development to help you to reach your career aspirations. The preferred candidate will also hold CSCS and SMSTS cards.
