We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas/Heating Engineer to join our highly regarded Maintenance team, which delivers a first-class repairs service across London and the South East. Rydon is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties.
Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group and is successfully providing facilities management services to a variety of clients within the health and housing association sectors.
Based around our contracts in London and the South East, this is excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our well established Maintenance team. As part of this varied role you will work as part of a small team of mobile engineers to provide planned, preventative and responsive repairs with a particular emphasis on servicing and maintaining commercial boiler plant, attending breakdowns and PPM. You will be fault finding on commerical boilers and heating systems, servicing of gas heating systems, repairs to gas networks, maintaining and repair of gas fired water heaters and domestic hot water systems.
Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. You will also be required to participate in an on-call rota system (which offers the opportunity to increase your earnings and be involved in additional urgent repairs).
You will be provided with a company van, fuel card, PDA, uniform and excellent training opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a strong maintenance background gained as a commercial heating/gas maintenance engineer. Some installation experience would also be beneficial. This experience would ideally have been gained with a maintenance contractor, though candidates working for an energy provider will also be considered. You will also hold full up to date ACS Commercial Gas certificates.
