Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group which within our housing contracts provides responsive repairs, lifecycle and cyclical repairs services to tenanted and void properties on a unique partnering agreement basis for housing associations.

Job Purpose

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Cyclical and Lifecycle works planning team working on our Key Social Housing Contracts. The role is based in Islington. This is one of our flagship partnerships delivering ongoing maintenance works to social housing stock consisting of both Victorian Street properties and several high rise blocks.


The role will be responsible for ensuring that all project works are delivered on time and that they meet the Company’s Quality standards. You will manage subcontracted works across a range of lifecycle and cyclical works to include both internals and externals work (which may include complete refurbishment, minor repurposing and/or replacement works). The Site Manager will also work in conjunction with our Surveying department to ensure the effective cash management of the project through the provision of prompt, accurate records and effective sub-contractor management.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Site management experience working on cyclical/maintenance projects or housing refurbishments
  • Awareness of the various processes involved in running the Contract and the ability to ensure that they comply with all internal and external policies and procedures 
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills to ensure that objectives are achieved;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • A methodical, systematic and logical approach;
  • Focus and drive to achieve targets, budgets and results;
  • Current SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
