Rydon is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties.


Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group which within our housing contracts provides hard facilities management services to tenanted and void properties on a unique partnering agreement basis for housing associations.

Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contact Centre Manager to effectively manage and co-ordinate our Contact Centre based in Dartford, Kent. As part of the role you will be responsible for the daily running and management of the centre through the effective use of resources. You will take responsibility for meeting and exceeding customer service targets as well as planning areas of improvement or development. You will ensure that calls and emails are answered by staff within agreed time scales and in an appropriate manner.


You will manage any escalated Contact Centre issues, making sure that they are dealt with in an appropriate manner and to the Client’s satisfaction. You will work closely with our HR team ensuring any HR issues are resolved and ensure that Data Protection protocols are fully understood and implemented by all Contact Centre team members.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of customer service management (or of team leadership with an ability to further develop). This may have been gained within the housing maintenance sector although candidates with other service industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply. You will also have experience of working within a large team and demonstrate a clear passion for excellence in customer service. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and coach to successfully develop your team.
