Job Purpose

Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative looking for a new and rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking a multi-skilled maintenance operative to join our mobile repairs team based in the South East to provide reactive, planned and preventative maintenance for our NHS Clients.

The work is undertaken in a range of healthcare settings such as hospitals, outpatient facilities and walk-in centres.

The role is a mobile opportunity, and as such means that no two days are the same. Rydon will provide a company vehicle and fuel card as part of this varied role.

In addition to the above, there will also be some planned maintenance activities such as planned upgrade works, refurbishment as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment for service users.

You will work in a live healthcare environment and as such, you will play an important role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for staff and service users. This is an exciting and varied role with an excellent opportunity to develop and grow within our highly regarded team.

This opportunity would suit an experienced maintenance operative with experience gained in an NHS or Commercial environment. Alternatively, you may have recently completed an apprenticeship and be looking to put theory into practice. Either way, you will be provided with excellent training/development as part of this varied and genuinely diverse opportunity.

Experience Required

You may have a good track record of previous employment, though this opportunity would equally suit a candidate that has recently completed their apprenticeship looking to put their learning into practice. Either way, the preferred candidate will have the ability to undertake carpentry/joinery and basic plumbing works. You will have excellent customer service skills and be passionate about providing high quality repairs. This is a genuinely diverse role with excellent scope for personal development.
