Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group and is successfully providing facilities management services to a variety of clients, predominantly within the healthcare and housing association sectors.
As a result of our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Projects Manager to join our prestigious maintenance healthcare team on a key NHS PFI contract across North London and Bedfordshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a variety of negotiated works including refurbishments, maintenance, and small works on the building fabric or re-modelling, which could include for example; the changing of floor coverings or refurbishing offices to bedrooms. These works will primarily be based on mental healthcare sites. You will form the key point of contact between the company and the end client ensuring they receive exceptional service on all aspects of the contract. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships both with the end client, site management, and sub-contractors.
As part of the role you will lead a number of projects from initial stages all the way through to completion whilst adhering to a number of strict KPIs and SLAs. As Project Manager you must have a strong degree of budgetary control together with a polished communication and leadership style allowing you to lead a number of direct reports and sub-contractors. This role requires a strong and varied skillset including budget management, estimating of works, quantity surveying, commercial reporting, and minor programming.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in project management and astute commercial and technical skills, along with the enthusiasm and efficiency to make a positive contribution to our multi-disciplined, integrated project teams and to the wider business.
